RE: Travel Trailer Storage Covers

Thanks for the feedback. I am not to concerned with them being difficult since I will only put it on in the fall and remove it in the spring. My trailer sits at a seasonal site even during the winter. I am just trying to keep it clean over the winter. Any ideas on which cover from Camping World is better?

Travel Trailer Storage Covers

I have a new 2008 Jayco 32BHDS and would like to buy one of the nice storage covers that fit around the trailer and then zip up. I have been on the Camping World website and am trying to determine which one will fit the best. If anyone has bought one for this trailer or similar I would love to get some feedback on which fit and work the best. I am in the Pacific Northwest so the trailer will be exposed to quite a bit of rain during the winter. Thanks for your help.

RE: Tongue Lock for Jayco Trailer

I think I am going to forget about a coupler lock and use the Fulton wheel lock. Quick to put on, nice orange color, and fits like a glove. Also, don't have to worry about someone hauling it away on the chains. West Marine $49.

RE: Entry Door Locks - Key# EF317. Do you have one too?

Just curious what is the difference between EF### and HF###. I have one key with each. Also, my storage compartment is CH751 as well.

Tongue Lock for Jayco Trailer

I have just purchased a Jayco 32BHDS trailer and am having a hard time finding a tongue lock. I stopped by the local RV (Jayco) dealer and tried all of the one they offered, however, none would fit. WE tried the Gorilla that slides over the flange, the type that inserts in the ball and the bar goes over the tongue. Anyway, we tried all the 2 5/8 locks and none would fit. I would definetly like to find some type of lock. If all else fails I could go wheel lock route. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

RE: Purchase price of 2008 Jayco 32bhds

Hi , Bought my 2008 32 BHDS in Seattle $22,900 with all the options. Watts RV. I highly recommend them. I looked out in Minn, Ohio, Michigan but when I factored in shipping ( approx $2000) they couldn't even come close to Watt's price. I now even have a local dealer as well which is peace of mind.

RE: Thoughts on Jayco 32 bhds?

My wife and I just purchased a 32BHDS and will get it next week. We will be using it at a seasonal spot so very little towing involved. We are extremely excited and can't wait for spring. I was sold on the floor plan and the large room in the back for the kids. My wife was sold on the power awning for the days when she is at the trailer alone.

RE: Door Dead Bolts

I have just seen other people who have put stronger aftermarket dead bolts on their doors as added security. We are in a fairly busy campground so breaking a window would probably create too much attention. I just thought a larger dead bolt would give some cheap added protection. I haven't received my trailer yet but at the RV show I didn't think the lock looked that strong.

Door Dead Bolts

I just purchased a new travel trailer which will be parked at a permanent summer spot. I would like to beef up the door locks with some dead bolts. Any suggestions to which are the best?
